Weather is icy on this Danish winter morning and I am travelling through slushice, that along the coastline created the white rim of drift ice pushed onto the shores. The scenery is classic viking, with small fjords and waterways. For me personally this is one of my classics. An image that can never be recreated. Not even by myself.

Description

Beauty in Blur was shot by Limfjorden Denmark from a moving ferry during 15 seconds of exposure. The relative sharpness was obtained as the ferry slowly turns around the point in the image. It release as limited edition of 5 printed on heavy Photo Rag fineart 308 gsm smooth paper by Hahnemühle. Beauty in Blur float mounts bleeding edge in sight 83 x 136 cm over white background inside smoked oak frame of 100 x 150 cm.

Photo Rag produce outstanding prints that feature brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and perfect reproduction of detail. It is categorised as a smooth matte paper. The matte finish emphasises the subtle colour harmonies and mood of this composition and an outstanding landscape artwork is guaranteed. This paper is heavy quality that ensures longevity. Production is archival acid free with very low level of OBAs. ISO 9706 conform/museum quality for highest age resistance.
