To sell just one artwork at the Art Fair, there is no need for a membership or a gallery to enter.

Enter your art into the Svalinn Art Gallery. We register your artwork, process and optimize your media files, and advise on best practices for ranking and exposure.

Sometimes a full gallery registration is a bit much for just 1, 2 or maybe 3 works to enter the Art Fair.

Svalinn Art now has own gallery for exactly this purpose. We serve collectors, artists and galleries wishing to shuffle the collection or portfolio.

FAQ

Will I need to hand in my artwork?

No. Svalinn Art has distributed sales and the ability to geolocate galleries as well as artwork, hence, your artwork will display as present at the location you provide.

What money goes where when?
  • At purchase money is cleared for availability and reserved (Not captured).
  • Once art processing is in place and shipped to the collector, money is charged (captured) and transferred to Svalinn Art.
  • Upon reception of the artwork, the collector has 14 days of Right to Return. To this you add shipping duration.
  • Payout to your bank account after our commission subtraction transfers from us within 8 days from the Right to Return deadline.
  • Should the collector have reservations or claim the Right to Return due to dammage of the shipping, or the artwork is not as specified, a dispute is placed upon this deal.

Who handles communication with a potential collector?

We manage communication as well as sales, invoice, and international transactions…

Who handles shipping?

We charge for shipping at purchase and provide you with a shipping label, Track & Trace code and custom documentation if required.

You apply the shipping label we provide, print and attach customs declaration from us and you manage secure Handle With Care wrapping and transfer the shipping to the agreed carrier.

Do you accept all art?

We reserve the right to respectfully decline a registration and entry to the art fair:

  • Due to partial or faulty specification
  • Due to non trustworthy communication
  • Due to non-acceptance of our terms
  • Due to the state of the artwork
  • Due to non-matching theme with the Art Fair
  • Due to lack of quality in media files

We return registration fee, in case of decline.

Please note; there is no Right of Withdrawal for art registration, since registration initiates with immediate effect.

What if I have a lot of art?

Consider opening own gallery at Svalinn Art. You will find gallery memberships and application here.

If you do not wish to manage your own gallery, but request a batch quote for multi entry into the Art Fair, please contact us here.

Can I remain anonymous?

You can remain anonymous in public, as long as we have your credentials and coordinates for easy and direct contact to you regarding the sales, hence, your info is required for art registration. Simply mark anonymous in the registration form

Do you auction artwork?

Currently Svalinn Art does not have this capability, however, we are in development regarding auctions w. optional reserve of artwork. So yes, auctions are coming to Svalinn Art in the near future.

Withdrawal from sales?

Should you wish to withdraw your registration with us, you simply send us a message in the contact form with a 48 hour warning for de-listing the artwork. Please understand, that the artwork is for sale as long as it is online and you and we are bound by these terms.

Please check your artwork here before selling to other side. It will state “1 Available” or “Sold” as soon as payment clears in our account.

For our grading system we rely on you to specify any and all flaws and defects such as, but not limited to: UV degradation, scratches, frame hit, smoking home, broken glass, repairs and any other damages.

Credit Card field is disabled, Stripe payments are not enabled in the form settings.
